Arguing Like a Lawyer! - Response to Literature Essays

Students wrote exceptional response to literature essays on Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman using the MLA format.  They argued their theses--based on the novel's themes--like lawyers backing up their arguments with textual evidence and detailed commentary.  Transitions helped paragraphs flow smoothly together and an insightful ending brought a "Wow!" to Miss Lukins as she blissfully graded!   Enjoy some thoughtful and insightful writing below:
