What is Your Point of View? - Voki Avatars

Students enjoyed a quick review of point of view and persuasive writing by creating their own speaking avatars using voki.com.  Students chose a debate topic from an online resource (or one of their own ideas), then planned their debate, and finally created an avatar to say their debate (the web site only allows approximately 100 words so students had to choose words wisely).  Click here to hear a Voki avatar explain this project!  Click here to listen to an example avatar created by Miss Lukins on the topic, "Cell Phones at School."  Enjoy listening to some student-created avatars sharing their points of view on important issues below (click on each picture to listen to each debate):
