Renaissance with a TECH-Y Twist!

Today, students showed off their social networking skills and Renaissance knowledge during an online message board discussion as Renaissance eminent people!  Using the online educational platform Edmodo, students wrote first person accounts as famous Renaissance painters, writers, scientists, church reformers, kings and queens, and explorers.  Several students even used Google Translate to translate their posts into the native language of their eminent people!  Speaking as their eminent people, students posted their overall importance during the Renaissance and responded to their fellow Renaissance colleagues' accomplishments--emulating the real discussion the Renaissance men and women had back in this era!  Enjoy the inspirational, thoughtful, shocking, and reflective discussion below!
