Fun with Figures of Speech!

Students got creative with figures of speech creating PowerPoint One-Pagers and GoAnimate movies identifying similes and idioms in the novel Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman and in everyday speech.  On the "Similes One Pager" students recorded and cited 3 similes from the novel and wrote 3 of their own similes about the novel and its characters, setting, etc.  In the "Idioms GoAnimate Moive" students use their GoAnimate app in Edmodo to create short movies of characters using at least 6 idioms in context.
