REWIND: End-of-the-Year Fun! - Virtual Reality, Exploration Activity, Mesoamerica Chalk Talk, Geo Gems Project, Instagram Memories!

Students enjoyed several activities during the last week of school, including virtual reality and Google 360 tours of Mesoamerican landmarks, such as Machu Picchu and Chichen Itza, as well as a 20-question game using Google Cardboard virtual reality glasses!  Other activities included an outside "Exploration Activity" in which students simulated being explorers from the Age of Exploration! The students ended the year with the Geo Gems Project, in which students showcased the units of World Geography studied this year using one of these formats:  action figure, utopia, online shopping cart, or an iPad!  Finally, we ended the year by creating "Instagram" memories of the year and yearbook signing!  See the fun below!
