Africa Interactive Map PowerPoint

Students used their extended skills of Microsoft PowerPoint to create a 10+-slide PowerPoint presentation that includes an interactive Africa map, which hops to and from slides about the geographic regions (Sahara Desert, savanna, rain forest, and Mediterranean), African empires (Ghana, Mali, and Songhai), the Niger River, the trans-Saharan trade network, African griots and oral traditions (storytelling), and more! See examples below:


Each of the pictures on the map below is linked to a slide with information about that topic:
When the "pyramids" are clicked they bring you to the "Sahara Desert" slide below:
 When the "gold" is clicked it brings you to the "Ghana" slide below:
 When the "ruler of Mali" is clicked it brings you to the "Mali" slide below:
 When the "conversation" icon is clicked it brings you to the "African Folklore" slide below:
