Renaissance Revival Faire 2016!
What a fun day! Thursday was our annual Renaissance Revival Faire! Students not only transformed into their Renaissance eminent people decked out in costume and props with detailed poster projects and artifacts displayed, but also wrote news articles about their eminent people's impact on modern-day society, and created FUTURE inventions based on their person's accomplishments! Students presented their amazing work to parents and classes who visited the faire and enjoyed getting into character! Some students even showcased Google Cardboard virtual reality glasses, allowing students to virtually travel to places related to their Renaissance person, such as "galaxies in space" for Galileo and the Florence Cathedral for Brunelleschi! Enjoy the festivities below! Also, check out students' Renaissance oral presentations in front of their classmates at this link!
